I have been waiting for this day for a few weeks now... The NEW Pro-Ject VC-S record cleaner has arrived! Now.... where did I put that old LP??..

A few weeks ago I was lucky enough to have a play with one of the first Pro-Ject VC-S record cleaners in the country here in the shop.

At the time I had a bag full of old LP records in my car that had been given to me but I had found most of them to be unplayable so they were destined for the bin or the local charity shop, but I thought what better way to put the VC-S to the test.

I reached into my bag of 1980's delights and pulled out Yazoo's 1982 debut album 'Upstairs at Erics' which I believe to be a great album because (if for no other reason) it contains the track 'Only You'.

I first put the LP on the turntable that was connected up in the dem' room to confirm to myself how bad the LP was and sure enough, it was pretty bad! I then went to the Pro-Ject VC-S record cleaner and gave it a VERY quick clean and no word of a lie, this Yazoo album is no longer going to be in the 20p bargain bin at the local charity shop, because now there's hardly a click or pop! :0)
